Today, I was in Washington, D.C., to present President @realDonaldTrump with the Religious Liberty Commission's report and our recommendations.

Over the past year, our Commission held seven hearings and heard testimony from over 100 witnesses from education, the military, healthcare, the private sector, and government. They shared firsthand accounts of how their religious liberty had been violated. Many have already won their cases before the Supreme Court, while others are still fighting in the courts.

Based on the testimony we heard and the Commission's findings, it became clear time and again that Americans' religious freedoms were being denied based on the fictitious claim that the "separation of church and state" is found in the Constitution. As a result, we presented President Trump with 12 recommendations to strengthen and restore religious liberty in America.

Following up on my tweet yesterday on how Chip Roy has attempted to rewrite history, claiming to be an ally to President Trump:

One of the President’s top advisors, Alex Bruesewitz, is coming to Texas to campaign with Mayes Middleton tomorrow.

@AlexBruesewitz is a top leader in the MAGA movement, and he knows that @Mayes_Middleton is the only choice for Attorney General. Alex also knows firsthand that Chip Roy is not MAGA.

Alex will set the record straight on how we cannot allow a Liz Cheney-loving, Trump impeachment supporter like Chip Roy as our next Attorney General, a position with the power to undermine the president’s MAGA agenda.

As a close ally of President @realDonaldTrump, I keep a close eye on all things Texas for him. I’ve chaired his Texas campaign three times now.

I’d like to set the record straight: Chip has never been a MAGA warrior, as he now claims.

Here are a few interesting observations I’ve made:

1. Chip said on tape that MAGA voters could kiss his a**
2. Chip campaigned with now-vanquished anti-Trump Congressman Thomas Massie
3. Chip supported anti-Trump Congresswoman Liz Cheney against the President
4. Chip supported President Trump’s impeachment
5. Chip has consistently played hardball with the President. In Congress, he’s held up the MAGA agenda over and over again to serve himself
6. President Trump calls him “3 AM Chip” because Chip would often call, telling the President he can’t support MAGA legislation

I don’t ever like calling someone a liar. It’s a harsh word. I’m certainly not calling Chip Roy a liar.

However, in the last few weeks of the campaign for AG, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲. Let’s chalk it up to Chip’s failed memory. I simply want to set the record straight.

If you support President Trump, don’t be fooled. Chip is not and has never been for MAGA or for President Trump. Chip is desperate for Trump and Paxton voters’ support and is desperately rewriting history to cover up his actions.

The last time @chiproytx worked in the Texas Attorney General’s office, he was escorted out of the building. AG @KenPaxtonTX gave him a choice: be fired or resign. The reason was his continued insubordination to AG Paxton.

Ken Paxton was recently overheard in an audio clip saying, “I’m going to vote for @mayes_middleton” and that he “could not imagine [Chip Roy] stepping into that role.”

I’m casting my vote for Mayes Middleton, too.

The BIGGEST: Homestead Property Tax Exemptions, being great for taxpayers, because of proven lowered ISD property tax bills, which is helpful for housing affordability, too! This reflects Texas’, Lt. Gov. @DanPatrick, myself, et al. #txlege success from my SB 4 & SB 23. After record voter-approved homestead exemption increases & ISD tax rate cuts in 2023 & 2025, the avg. TX homestead has seen ~$2k/yr in savings, w/even greater relief for seniors. Other states agree: higher homestead exemptions work to lower ISD property tax bills! ✅🇺🇸
