And there it is. Another poster asked earlier how we prevent this DEI thing from happening again and the answer is that we must have a justice system in place willing to enforce laws already in place! We can have an absolutely perfect system in place but it will always be the humans employed to execute it that screw up the works. Make our justice system great again and a lot of things will fall in line.

@elonmusk This has to stop happening. I suggest a congressional rule that no bill can be longer than the original Constitution. No more of this ‘omnibus’ BS. Write the bills short and coherent, addressing one issue, and do your job by assessing their worth separately.
@elonmusk I feel like this "I guess we'll find out what's in the bill after we pass it" applies. Sad that things can't be more straightforward. Our entire country is bogging itself down with this trash. If we can't simplify solutions to problems, find discreet solutions, then we're SOL
@jdl9119@CharlieKNews I don't think very many people are surprised by this (communist_state) bit. Isn't that what the majority of the voters in the overly-congested cities in California (or any given state) want? I say it's lack of fresh air but....
@Half_86@DrFrankTurek I see. I hear you are saying that a bigot is someone who denies another's rights. Mmm. Definitely a modern use of the word. I'll have to reread everything to see if I understand it contextually. Sry I often don't check daily. Politically, I would rather have laissez-faire.
@DrFrankTurek More likely is that many Christians became Christians and were already on the path to being pro abortion if not fully there already. It makes less sense to say "became pro choice" than it does "became Christian" because one is more intentional and the other is unlikely to change
@Half_86@DrFrankTurek Also, it's a convenient term "bigot" and has lost all meaning other than smear. Please be more specific about how not approving of someone else's behavior and loving them when their behavior is self destructive is bigotry?
@Half_86@DrFrankTurek That's pretty difficult to delineate. Sorry, just so we're not splitting hairs, I hear you and I agree 💯 that a person's perspective is protected by more than just our Constitution in the U.S.: life liberty, etc. it's not an exhaustive list for a reason; Do ya mean Safe space?
@Half_86@DrFrankTurek Who said anything about treatment? I was talking about excuses for bad behavior that people make for themselves. Whether people justify bad behavior with a book or their own jaded consciences is irrelevant--the results are identical: "Because I want to, therefore I must."
@DrFrankTurek That's absolutely the wrong goal. I understand your motivation, but if we are obedient to scripture then OnLy in the church. Not in culture:
I Corinthians 5. Iykyk. #Church#discipline
@Half_86@DrFrankTurek We're all born sinful. It isn't uniquely one set of people who suffer from the excuse of "I was born this way.". Read James chapter 1 wrt temptation if you're interested in understanding a holistic/conservative approach to combatting sin. It is only tempting because we want to.
You can love someone and not approve of what they do. In fact, it's required. I mean, every parent knows this. Every parent understands that if you approve of everything your child wants to do, you're not loving.
@Rothmus Inflation is not caused by corporate greed, but by the raising of minimum wage. LMFAO 😂😅. Also, my wife provides for a family of 5 with 333$/week, which also covers her gas. Ijs. Stop wasting money on frozen/prepared food and chips. learn to cook. Make spaghetti & sandwiches.
@spinfisher@BhaywoodBrian@MattWalshBlog Investment is only a risk for the corrupt government that fear-mongers suckers into believing that somehow their inefficiency is better than being trusted with one's own income
@clifkee@nkhlday@bethanyshondark@kylieoralobell I mean, yeah, that's not terribly more constructive than the other post. How about 'parents pointing out how difficult it is to raise children in a safe yet informative environment aren't going to keep their kids from information especially if it would be unsafe & dishonest.'
