Reconciliation propaganda in high school exposed by BC teen
A 16-year-old B.C. high school student says he is being denied the opportunity to return to class unless he removes his YouTube video called “Lies and Reconciliation,” which exposed some of the propaganda that was pushed on students during his school's Truth and Reconciliation Day programming.
Isaac Simpson, a Grade 11 student enrolled in a Lower Mainland school's film and television program, decided to put his filmmaking skills to use after growing frustrated with what he was being taught about Canada's history, often unbeknownst to parents.
From a masked Black Lives Matter advocate telling students about truth, to another virtual speaker telling the youth to embrace discussions of “land back,” to a disturbing exaggerated illustration depicting Catholic nuns and an RCMP officer forcibly tearing Indigenous children from their mothers, Simpson's video gives parents a rare look inside the classroom.
“I got really sick of all the indoctrination being pushed down students' throats,” Simpson told me. “They were just telling you what to think, not how to think.”
But his decision to expose the material came at a cost.
After initially being suspended for what the school described as a period of “pause and reflection,” Simpson and his parents attended a meeting with school officials that the teen likened to an interrogation.
Simpson documented that experience in a second video posted to his YouTube channel, Isaac Simpson's Flying Circus. Both videos have since been gaining attention online.
Now, Simpson says he has been told he cannot return to school unless the videos come down. He refuses to comply.
“I'm not taking it down because, you know, I stand by what I said,” Simpson explained.
I caught up with the young filmmaker to find out why it was important for him to expose what's happening in his public school despite the risk.
For Simpson, the issue is bigger than his suspension. Currently, "parents have no way of figuring out what is being taught in schools,” he said.
I also spoke with his mother, former Global News director and current B.C. political commentator Anita Krishna, about the school's response and what comes next.
REPORT by @DreaHumphrey:
I commend my colleague and friend, MP Dean Allison, for his continued work to ensure Canadians who experienced harm following COVID-19 vaccination have an opportunity to be heard.
The stories shared through the Allison Inquiry have been deeply moving. Thank you, Dean, for giving these Canadians a voice.
@PattiV_Liberty Where is @One_BCHQ leader @Dallas_Brodie Why isn't she invited? This shows that the system is corrupted even to the extent of exclusion!
The BC Conservatives have broken their word again. With more than 100% of the province being claimed by different bands everyone's homes are now under threat.
When the next treaty comes up in parliament and your house is on the menu, who will stand for you in parliament?
@One_BCHQ I hope every true conservative in this election rejects the false hope and crosses the floor to @One_BCHQ. @Dallas_Brodie we thank you for being for all the people if British Columbia!
OneBC is here to stay!
A message for all OneBC supporters on our agreed coalition government deal with BC Conservative leadership candidate Yuri Fulmer:

We find ourselves being pulled toward land collectivization and communism. We must fight this trend with all we've got. Property rights are fundamental, and we as legislators need to dedicate ourselves to fighting for British Columbians and protecting their private property.
I think David Eby is the most rabidly ideological, dangerously unhinged politician Canada has ever endured.....period.
A hardcore radical leftist zealot whose Marxist fever dreams are gutting the province. His obsession with UNDRIP exposes his hypocritical extremism. He rammed through his own "reconciliation" virtue-signaling law, then flips out and rushes amendments when courts actually enforce it, trashing rulings as "unhelpful" or "toxic" overriding judicial independence, and betraying First Nations who co-developed it.
Even the natives are restless. Over 100 Indigenous leaders and groups rage against his warp speed gutting of protections, warning it'll spark protests, lawsuits, economic chaos, and decades of setbacks.
This isn't leadership, it's ideological sabotage, weaponizing reconciliation then shredding it for political convenience.
Tie that to his cozy, conflicted China ties. Eby downplays Beijing's threats while fentanyl precursors flood from CCP-linked sources, devastating BC with overdoses. He skips China on trade missions to "diversify " yet critics slam him for soft-pedaling retaliation on Chinese EVs/steel while whining about U.S. tariffs.
Chinese election interference got him elected. This radical leftist bows to woke UNDRIP dogma one minute, caves to economic fears the next, all while letting Chinese influence erode sovereignty and fuel a deadly addiction crises.
He's not governing, he's imposing a toxic ideology that's bankrupting BC, dividing communities, and selling out to globalist radicals.
I always thought my BC neigbours were radical, but even I feel sorry for them. They're being led down a destructive path that won't be reversible.
