@kickncardz3252@morgantencza The star player is not getting reamed out by multiple teammates unless like 75% of the team disagrees with the celebration
@Phillies need to make a splash and sign Cody Bellinger
L Kyle Schwarber DH
R Trae Turner SS
L Bryce Harper 1B
R Nick Castellanos RF
L Cody Bellinger CF
R JT Realmuto C
L Bryson Stott 2B
R Alec Bohm 3B
L Brandon Marsh LF
Bellinger, Hader, and a SP make the Phil’s a real threat.
If @Phillies fans did the classic olé soccer chant while the opposing team was up to bat while we were up by a lot that would be absolutely infuriating to a batter.
Imagine 50,000 fans yelling olé every time you whiffed at a pitch.
@FreddieMedhat@RGonzalezCBS Not even saying Lalas is comparatively better than Rapinoe based on their competition.
The point I’m trying to make if you try to compare the best center backs to ever play the game against Rapinoe without context she’s going to look better because you’re using attacking stats
@FreddieMedhat@RGonzalezCBS The point I’m trying to make is you can compare an attacking player to any center back and they’ll look good using these metrics
@jwkite @Anthony_cf97 @RGonzalezCBS Comparatively speaking Rapinoe was a better player against her competition than Lalas, I don’t disagree with that. I think if it wasn’t for that 1994 team soccer wouldn’t be anywhere near as popular as it is today, so it’s hard to say which teams were more influential.
A crazy stat. Since 1970 only 3 players have won the Men’s World Cup twice:
Ronaldo (🇧🇷 1994 & 2002)
Cafu (🇧🇷 1994 & 2002)
Daniel Passarella (🇦🇷 1978 & 1986)
@jwkite @Anthony_cf97 @RGonzalezCBS Since 1970 only 3 male players have won the World Cup twice. 30 women have won the World Cup twice since the Women’s World Cup was started 20 years later. It’s not a close comparison at all
