I see there is quite a lot of negative coverage of Ashton Under Lyne on SM recently …. I just want to say it’s a great town with “gradely” folk and a good heart. Like many former mill towns it has a lot to deal with ..but many of its people and small businesses do their best to make it a good place. I was born and brought up here and I am proud to be from here and still live here.
