Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has officially endorsed Hon. BabuOwino for Nairobi Governor 2027, adding significant political weight to the Luo Elder coronation and strengthening the coalition against the current county administration. #NewLuoKingpin.
The BabuOwino coronation established a new Luo Elder under the Council of Luo Elders. Blessings position Hon. Babu Owino to defend Luo community priorities in Nairobi County and nationally. Babu Kwa SaBabu.Focus stays on Nairobi Governor 2027.

We are fighting for those goons because they don’t have jobs, they don’t have a meal for the next day.
A youth in this country may want to die, that youth is so poor, but that youth has no money to buy a rope to hang himself.
Change comes when citizens raise their voices. When the leaders don't listen we Assemble, demonstrate, picket and petition. It is the spirit of the new generation.
ODM ya Ukweli leaders led by Edwin Sifuna, James Orengo, Babu Owino, Godfrey Osotsi, Anthony Kibagendi, Caroli Omondi among others have a filled 100k seater Busia Stadium. Baba Raila Odinga must be smiling in heaven.
Raila Odinga was a true champion of democracy. A child of independence, he endured decades of struggle and sacrifice for the broader cause of freedom and self-governance in Kenya. Time and again, I personally saw him put the interests of his country ahead of his own ambitions. Like few other leaders anywhere, he was willing to choose the path of peaceful reconciliation without compromising his core values. Through his life, Raila Odinga set an example not just for Kenyans, but across Africa and around the world. I know he will be missed. Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and to the people of Kenya.
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino ranked as the most popular Member of Parliament in Kenya, with a 72% approval rating in the latest Infotrak CountyTrak Performance Index 2024.
The survey, conducted between October and December 2024, assessed MPs across all 47 counties, sampling 39,795 respondents.
The ceasefire and hostage release deal announced between Israel and Hamas is good news – for the families of the hostages taken on October 7th, for the Palestinian civilians who have suffered for more than a year, and for everyone who has prayed for an end to this awful chapter.
It’s important to recognize that no deal – including this one – can ease the pain of those who have lost loved ones, or resolve the longstanding conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. That work will be much harder, and take much longer. But it will put a stop to the bloodshed, allow people to return to their homes, and get much-needed aid to more than a million desperate, hungry people.
That’s something we should all support, and I’m grateful to President Biden, Secretary Blinken, and all the leaders and diplomatic teams from around the world who have worked so hard to get this done.
SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT ON PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL
For long, I demurred criticizing the Supreme Court because I hold all its Members in the highest regard. Some were my Professors in Law School. Others have been my friends for decades. Some are my clients. But reading the Judgement on FINANCE ACT has shocked me to the core. Supreme Court has held that PUBLIC PARTICIPATION is a Constitutional Imperative but curiosity erases its value completely by holding:
“ .. National Assembly is under no obligation to provide reasons for accepting or rejecting public views .. “
If National Assembly has no obligation to provide reasons for accepting or rejecting public views, why then undertake public participation? Why then engage in a WILD GOOSE & ILLUSORY process?
Another curious holding was that there is no obligation on Parliament because we have no rules in place! Law is written or established by courts (case law) or law scholarly books & writings or under both local and international customs. We don’t need RULES to give effect to Constitutional Obligations.
Unless the Supreme Court reviews this Judgement only on the extent, remit & principles of PUBLIC PARTICIPATION & make it MANDATORY & NOT DISCRETIONARY on Parliament, this will be the Judgment that destroyed democracy as we know it in Kenya.
This Supreme Court Judgement on PUBLIC PARTICIPATION is REDUCTIO AD ABSURDUM!
Apart from number 1, the rest are only essential “tools” of trade for advocates working as proxies for the plutocratic class in Africa.
An effective and ethical advocate only needs competently prepared materials including submissions, a good brain and an ability to explain.
Elisha Ongoya single-handedly dismantled your team of 50 advocates wearing $650 suits, expensive pairs of shoes, carrying crocodile leather bags, and using exotic pens and gadgets, with only his brain, a Sh50 biro pen and a white piece of paper.
Materialistic and classist expressions don’t impress organic intellectuals and a genuinely neutral bench. (Impartiality is often just an empty anthem).
The Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau ( HNIB) agents can confirm that DP Rigathi Gachagua is penning his resignation letter.
HNIB agents at Karen hospital are reporting that he has told his confidants that he now wants to resign " to secure my political future"
HNIB agents are further confirming that "he is stable, strong and animated in conversations."
Too Late an action.
IT IS SO DECLASSIFIED!

Rule 7: Is bad really bad?
Kenyan politics seems to have the ingredients of the "bad boy" syndrome...This is a male who behaves badly, especially towards women and yet remains the most alluring to them… (1/3)
