@jkenney As a French-speaking Quebecer, I can say this policy is completely pointless. English is still the majority language in Canada, yet far too little is done to help francophones become truly fluent in it. Protecting French should not mean discouraging bilingualism.

Contrary to what many people believe, international students do not automatically become permanent residents. They must qualify under an immigration program, such as the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, or a Provincial Nominee Program.

@CaseyKrol I believe secularism has been one of our country's biggest mistakes. I'm not religious, but I would restore the teaching of Catholicism and our cultural heritage so newcomers understand the history, values, and traditions that shaped this country.
