Joseph Biggs, a combat veteran, deployed 4 times to the Middle East, earned two Purple Hearts after surviving two separate IED attacks. He retired with full benefits after 10 honorable years of service.

Five years ago, following his presence at the Jan. 6 Capitol protest—where he was unarmed, non-violent, and involved in no conspiracy—his VA medical and retirement benefits were revoked.

He was imprisoned for nearly 4 years as an innocent man, held without bail, spent 2 years in solitary confinement pre-trial, endured abuse, starvation, denied medical care, family visits, and a fair trial.

Released in Jan 2025 when President Trump commuted his 17-year sentence (for seditious conspiracy & related charges) to time served; most other J6 defendants received full pardons, but Biggs did not.

Without a full pardon, he can't regain his earned military benefits. He has no prior criminal history, now struggles as a felon to find work, and needs dental care & PTSD treatment.
