The @WMNcycling zondacrypto Generation team has been announced for the NXT Classic tomorrow and Tsige Kahsay Kiros 🇪🇹 has been named in the squad. This will be 18yo Tsige’s second @UCI_cycling race for her new team and we wish her every success!

It is brilliant to see a second Ethiopian woman on the start-list, with Tsige’s contemporary Serlakem Taye Watango 🇪🇹 taking part for her second race for the @WCC_cycling Conti Team!

There are actually FIVE African women racing overall, with Lucie Meyer 🇲🇺 and Jazilla Mwamikazi 🇷🇼 scheduled to race for the WCC Team as well.

In addition, we are most excited that Nesrine Houili 🇩🇿 will make her 2026 debut for the WCC Team ❤️🌍

Jonathan Rafiki Muhawenimana is your new Rwandan Junior National Champion in XCO MTB, winning the title this weekend by a commanding 48 seconds.

But this is bigger than a title.

Jonathan was raised by a cycling team. His papa, @UwimanaRafiki is one of the original 5 members of Team Rwanda. He was coached by @AD_Niyonshuti87, #Rwandan XCO MTB Olympian and @SalamiAvocetie1, a young #Benin coach.

And this weekend he became the #Rwandan JR XCO MTB National Champ!
