@mebank you cancelled our mastercards overnight, forced us to use these new visa cards, which we've activated but they don't work, you've shut down live chat on your app, and I'm >1/2hr on hold on the phone no answer. Payments are getting declined, scrounging for coins, not happy

@mebank Another 1.5h on hold to get it resolved... turns out I made the mistake of doing my weekly Woolworths shop, which got my card blocked two days later. The mind boggles.

@mebank @mebank I just spent another 90 mins on hold while driving from Melbourne to Geelong as you’ve put a block on my card for suspicious transactions. Couldn’t get through in the end. We will leave ME asap! Not good enough.

@jaymv10 @mebank It's astounding how badly they've handled this. Imagine running a bank where people can't access their money for 24 hours and not thinking to send an email, write a tweet, send an SMS... leaving your groceries at the checkout and scrounging for coins to pay for parking is not fun

Anybody know how these figures are arrived at? Is it just the activity codes assigned on the accounting system? Or are they delving deeper? There's some consulting that's obvious (e.g. hiring the big consulting firms to do a review) but then some that might be hidden elsewhere
