@CatholicArena I wrote an obituary for Hitchens admiring his militant rationalism. Now I am a defender of Christ and his church. Mother Teresa was truly a saint.
@mattyglesias And Ashoka’s Kandahar edict shows how deep the Greek footprint ran: he appears as “Piodasses” (Priyadarshi), and Dhamma is rendered in Greek as “eusebeia.”
Greek was effectively the English of its age first carrying Mauryan statecraft, then later the New Testament’s message.
@IndoKatholic@redeemed_zoomer Agreed, I also keep saying this. Independents churches have just made a coke studio of religion. People tend to go there because they get a hit out of the music and stage. We need more tradition!!!
@MhaskarChief@foodpharmer2 Palm oil isn’t bad for health. It’s just like any other oil. There is zero evidence for it being bad for health. The only problem that occurs with palm oil is the deforestation that accompanies it. Please cite credible sources where you can confidently say palm oil is bad.
@angelaramblings Tears swell- “Don’t Be Afraid, I AM with you until the end of time”
Anybody who doesn’t believe Jesus is God himself isn’t realising the greatest truth.
@creation247 This scene really gets to the heart. The anguish of a mother knowing fully he is God but seeing her flesh go through this. Oh my mother, how much you endured the pain for your son to have witnessed his death
@CivilLearning1 lol do you even know who Ataturk was? The guy literally made Turkey secular, abolished hijabs and beards, disbanded the caliphate, romanised Turkish alphabet to align with Europe instead of Arabic and you have the gall to insult him!!! Dude read your history you gawar jahil insan
