@baheughgahuuuuh It also shows that it really is mostly about silverware for a lot of fans. I can’t understand why a #NCFC fan would not be more jealous of Bournemouth than Palace. Incrementalism is underrated in football.
@baheughgahuuuuh Also money. And ‘could have been us’ is always a weird and short sighted gripe anyway. Leicester could have been us too - the 10 years ago version and the now version.
Huge numbers of fans will have said it about us too at various points in the last 10 years.
@prodnose Because the average wage of everyone else involved in the match is around 50 times what they’re paid. Pay refs and VARs £50,000 a week and I’d have no problem with them being forced to speak to the press about their performance like managers.
@TalkNorwichCity@Gazzetta_it My opinion is that football manager always gets slightly less enjoyable as soon as you open the editor and give your club more money.
@pinkun@FocusImagesLtd@paulhc64 It is a bit weird how much the media speculate on the performance management of the lowest paid person on the pitch. Imagine if we did that to them?
No byline from Paddy so far today, hot on the heels of that typo yesterday…make of that what you will… 🤨
@CGoreham@BBCNorfolk Yes please to VAR. I’ll never understand why some supporters would turn down an opportunity for decisions to be as accurate as possible.
@JackPittBrooke@prodnose Who is ‘we’? Presumably you mean “maybe *14 PL clubs* should listen”? Because that’s all it would take. Not the FA. Not PGMOL. But literally just 14 club representatives could kill it.
Why does nobody lobby or blame the PL clubs who keep voting to retain it?
@prodnose Clubs voted for it. Clubs keep voting to keep it. Clubs want it. Blaming faceless FA bureaucrats is lazy when 14 PL clubs could vote to ditch it but won’t.
@colone1flanders@pinkun@SouthamptonFC Wouldn’t work in this case - for some reason this match isn’t on domestic TV and also isn’t being made available to international supporters. It’s a blackout on this one, like the Walsall FA Cup match.
Would have been helpful for the club to do a ‘how to follow’ post for tonight’s match, even if the answer is “you can’t follow it anywhere in the world”. To not mention the blackout is weird and irritating for more fans than the number that’ll be in the away end tonight. #NCFC
@JohnCooper81@ChrisReevo Vlad more than good enough for a top championship side. Not good enough for a surviving premier league side, but that’s about the huge gap in the leagues. He’s more than good enough to get us promoted.
@humanmale1984@ChrisReevo No, survival is a laughable cakewalk from here on in. We will survive by a very comfortable margin. Honestly, relax and enjoy the fact that all our remaining matches will have nothing riding on them. When was the last time we had such a stress free stretch of matches!
We should at least be thankful that we don’t have to listen to Sam Matterface gushing about our premier league opponent for 90% of the time and being shocked - SHOCKED - if we ever get close to their box.
We’re taking this to penalties by the way.
Leeds legend Paul Robinson (for some reason co-commentating on this for BBC radio) thinks a player using their bicep to control the ball is absolutely fine and shouldn’t be checked by VAR. #NCFC
And former Leeds player jermain beckford is punditing at half time for TNT. As far as I’m aware there is not a shortage of ex-footballers who can speak, need the money, and have no affiliation with either #NCFC or #LUFC…
