Wouldn't be a proper Monday if Septa didn't make me earn my train ride. Down escalator is on. Up escalator is off. Not blocked, just turned off.

Ain't it common sense to reverse direction if you have to, to make sure the working escalator is going up when one is out of service?

Oh look. The long up escalator was turned off so I went back out to use the other one and that one's out of service, too. (Had to loop back to get a picture of the first one since these mfers always seem to want "proof.")

@UberEats y'all need to find a way to clarify bananas in the app for grocery deliveries.. the item says "bunches" clear as day, but every time there's a language barrier (and there always is) they message to clarify individual vs bunches (or pounds), or bring the wrong thing.

Hope my friends on staff at the Washington Hilton are ok. Didn't even occur to me until I saw the layout of the hotel that, duh, I know that place and very well. My coworkers were absolutely tickled that I was so geeked to get a private tour of the restricted space.

@KeunCatto @SEPTA_SOCIAL Or at least go past the delay. We got up the steps to see a train sitting there, then find out it's disabled and we had to crossover, bc both east and west trains were operating from the smr track.

So there is shuttling from Frankford to Huntington. But the disabled train is sitting on the westbound track at Huntington. No escalators AND we had to cross over AND they didn't have the gates open but had the nerve to have septa police stationed there.

Every week I see a new ad for @SEPTA, but they don't have the good sense to spend money to do the one thing that actually would attract paying customers - make the service safe, clean, and reliable. 8am Monday and there's hundreds of people on the platform cuz no trains.

No up escalators at Frankford today @SEPTA. Girl with the baby tried to go up the one where the bus lets off but it was turned off, so she came inside. That one was turned off too. She stood there staring, defeated for a minute then walked up the steps.
