Stephen A. Smith was HEART-BROKEN after his daughter Samantha told him that she wonโt let him live in her house when heโs older & she plans to put him in a Nursing Home instead ๐ญ๐
โIn my house?? With my kids? And my car? And my husband & my pool? In my guest room?โ
โIโm just your Dad. The one that made it all possible.โ
โI would love you from a distance Dad. You know I love you from a distance.โ ๐คฃ
The word marijuana should offend you.
It was designed to make small businesses and hemp farmers illegal by assigning a new word marijuana to the cannabis plant. Nobody knew their businesses were being banned because no one knew what the word marijuana was. They just knew cannabis and hemp.
Now they're doing the same thing in 2026 where everyone thinks the psychoactive form of cannabis is called marijuana and not hemp and then when they ban hemp THC, nobody knows or cares so they're using another wordplay loophole to take away your freedom so that you can't afford the one million dollar marijuana license and get locked up and thrown in jail if you try to sell cannabis.
What happened in 1937 was scarily similar to what's going on now in 2026:
This is Dr. William C. Woodward's testimony/letter โ
He was the AMA's legislative counsel, and he testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on the 1937 Marihuana Tax Act. Two key pieces:
His testimony (April/May 1937): He explained he preferred "Cannabis" over "marihuana" because Cannabis is the correct term for describing the plant and its products, while marihuana isn't the correct term at all (D4dpr) . He pointed out that using "marihuana" instead of "Cannabis" or "Indian hemp" was exactly why the hempseed dealers hadn't connected this bill to their own business until it was almost too late (D4dpr) โ basically saying: nobody in the industry realized this bill would hit them because it didn't say "cannabis" or "hemp."
His follow-up letter (July 10, 1937): He also sent a formal letter to Senator Pat Harrison, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, formally protesting the bill on behalf of the AMA's board of trustees regarding the medicinal use of cannabis and its preparations and derivatives.
Notice how they call it the marijuana tax act as if they're just taxing it, but in reality it was just a ban on cannabis in general. The taxes were so onerous that it effectively made everything illegal.
They're doing the same thing in 2026. They yell consumer safety all day for the hemp industry and then say they're adding regulation, but the regulation is not regulation. It's a ban.
marijuana is now racist.
