Phil Spencer’s Shelf

Live by the Shelf, Die by the Shelf

@jesawyer @apbinaz There’s 2 versions iirc. The 360 version was made with that mechanic and the og Xbox “back port” which was made by the ct team but kept a lot of the ct ui. They both run pretty well on the series consoles but could use a res boost

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@videogametakes @vicious696 It’s got minecraft though and that’s the biggest video game franchise of all time so 🤷‍♂️

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@JFHR99 @dark1x John*

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@JFHR99 @dark1x What if I value environmental concerns and wish to discuss the ethical impacts of the increased carbon footprint required to maintain a physical delivery method?

And I’m sure Richard has been called a shill for every company given the source material he produces tbh

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@dark1x It’s interesting that we can say a complaint is a form of valid criticism but a complaint about the complaint isn’t a valid criticism it’s an attack 🤔 rational detachment has to go both ways or it’s seen as hand waving imo

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@MKBHD This will make a fine addition to my shelf

[Marques Brownlee @MKBHD]

Alright, I'll be giving away this $10,000 Gucci XBox to a follower who retweets this in the next 24 hours. I'll ship it anywhere on earth. Good luck.

Here's what's inside: https://t.co/Mung64czZs

@stellarmind1010 @nosleep1138 @JezCorden Lemme just get the metacritic scores for the nominees list and see if any match up with horizons 92.

Also this defensive “it’s my opinion and everyone should suck eggs” is just a lazy way to argue. Kinda like your “people who like mediocre things are anti vaxxers” up there

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@majornelson @majornelson my dream car is the classic Chrysler300c 2008 model. There’s a few metal models of them on my shelf #freecodefridaycontest

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@Herrera4324 @Sr_Flamel @tomwarren You would be surprised how much content / how popular roblox content is. My kids watch it as a first choice when they get YouTube time

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

I don’t know what shelf this came from, but it needs to go back there. The house demolished. The ruins buried at sea and a more level headed gaming arcade built in its place.

That is all

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

Fresh shelf feelings

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

All I am saying is that as a twitter executive for game development I know there are thousands of developers not working on anything waiting to be pulled down off the shelf and plugged into a pipeline. It’s common knowledge guys comeon. Business 101 stuff really

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@Chris_Dring @JonDoyleDesign @JezCorden

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@JonDoyleDesign @Chris_Dring @JezCorden Maybe the problem is the headlines and storylines? Because that tweet doesn’t specify UK boxed sales which leads people to make assumptions that GI is talking about sales all over.

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@Chris_Dring @heisenreborn And there it is. Because YOU won’t know. I guess we could just wait for Bethesda to release their own milestone statistics but would that be good enough shrug 🤷‍♂️

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@TimGettys But when can I place these premium boxes copies on my shelf?

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

Did everyone shelve their rise of the tomb raider energy? 🤔

I didn’t know we were allowed to do that 🤷‍♂️

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@Chris_Dring Ideally your shelves of expectations would be built at equal height

[Phil Spencer’s Shelf @PhilsShelf]

@xboxera @Shpeshal_Nick @ModernVintageG What is MR Vintage Gamers stance on mahogany shelves?
