My 17-year-old son was in a horrific accident on Monday. He was ejected from the vehicle, and we have been at Hamilton General ever since.

He has a fractured neck, a broken shoulder, broken ribs, broken elbow, broken collar bone and multiple other injuries.

And yet, since yesterday afternoon, my injured 17-year-old child has been left in a hospital hallway, under the brightest lights, with no privacy, no proper place to rest, and very little relief.

I understand our hospitals are overwhelmed. I understand our healthcare workers are stretched beyond their limits. This is not an attack on the nurses and doctors who are doing everything they can.

This is about a system that is failing both its patients AND its healthcare workers.

How have we gotten to the point where a child with a fractured neck and multiple traumatic injuries is left lying in a hallway?

And I don’t even want to make this about me, because I would sit beside my son on the floor for the rest of my life if that’s what he needed. But one week ago today, I finished 38 rounds of chemo. I’ve now spent days sitting in a hard chair beside him, running on fear, adrenaline and exhaustion, with no relief in sight.

Something has to change.

We work. We pay taxes. We pay into benefits. We do everything we’re supposed to do — and when our families desperately need help, where is it?

This isn’t acceptable healthcare.

This isn’t compassion.

And this isn’t something we should just learn to tolerate because “there aren’t enough beds.”

There aren’t enough beds. There aren’t enough resources. There aren’t enough supports. And our families and healthcare workers are paying the price.

We need change. We need accountability. And we need it NOW.

Because no parent should have to watch their seriously injured child recover in a hospital hallway.

Most Canadians reject the facts about the Myth of Canada because they have been totally indoctrinated.

They actually believe that Canada is a constitutional monarchy and that Charlie is the King of Canada. That’s why they support a Governor General whose role actually expired in 1901 & again in 1931.

Canada is a colony locked into the 1867 BNA Act. Pierre Elliott Trudeau simply did a “cut & paste” of that Colonial Constitution in 1982.

The people were never involved. They had no rights in 1867 and the same was true in 1982. We continue to live in that ruse in 2026.

The LCBO’s decision to pull American liquor from its shelves is yet another example of government incompetence at its finest. The liquor has already been purchased, meaning taxpayers have already footed the bill. Instead of recouping that money by selling the stock to consumers, the LCBO is choosing to take a financial loss—wasting public funds in the process.

If they truly wanted to make a statement, they could have stopped future purchases while selling off the existing inventory. But instead, this is nothing more than a hollow gesture that accomplishes nothing except hurting Ontario consumers and their own bottom line. This is what happens when a government-run monopoly prioritizes virtue-signaling over basic business sense.
