This fella here is recognized as having the MOST ACCURATE first round mocks in the last five years of any pundit/writer (look it up)
His choices for #PhinsUp
Pick 11: OT Kadyn Proctor
Pick 30: CB Chris Johnson
I get the frustration with who we all wanted & thought the Dolphins would take. If this were Grier, I’d be more upset. But I’ll reserve judgement on this front office until I see the finished product. HOWEVER, if Bain/Downs are Pro Bowlers & Proctor is a bust, its Groundhog Day
@BigOShow What’s the downside? If he’s not “it”, the draft someone next year . If he’s is, this contract is a steal. If he isn’t, his contract plus a rookie is still below star starting qb money
When we said "Take many swings at Franchise QB". .....THIS is what that looks like.
Great start for this regime. Now build the rest of the roster.
You get a 1 year trial, and you can get in the QB pool in 2027 if you want too.
@ArmandoSalguero If he’s great the contract is a steal. If he’s a backup for 2 years behind a rookie they draft in 2027, the qb position is still under starting qb $$
Remember last offseason when a portion of the Dolphins fan base (including me) wanted to trade Tyreek Hill to get something for an aging, speed reliant WR? There were some who said it was crazy….
Tomlin’s camp telling @AdamSchefter that he’s not coaching in 2026 (possibly going to TV), could be his way of lowering the cost a new team would have to pay in trade compensation for his services. If a team wants him but the Steelers are asking for too much, he just goes to TV
Not sure where he got this info or if it has any validity. BUT if true it would explain why the Dolphins didn’t reach out John Harbaugh and why he played no role in the GM decision. @flasportsbuzz@JeffDarlington@ArmandoSalguero
