I could be wrong, but this is my analysis:

The wardrobe choices for Makhumalo and Ntanzi are quite interesting, as they seem to allude to the looming war that’s about to unfold.

Both the Magwazas and Ntanzi are facing a common enemy,one they must eliminate in order to survive. The use of black in their clothing likely symbolizes darkness or a dark cloud hanging over them, while the red could represent the blood that will be spilled.

The fact that these characters were specifically dressed in these colours is a smart and brilliant creative decision.

They are the heads of the two most powerful families in eZulwini, and they’re now being forced to unite in order to take down Gadla.

According to the teasers, Gadla won’t be easy to defeat, and an arranged marriage between him and Zama might be proposed as a solution to end the war,or as a way to work with him “peacefully.” Once again, the spiritual realm and the world of the living will collide, and Sanele receives a shocking prophecy.
