You can call me a Samsung hater but that company has been the cringiest phone brand in the last few years.
Chinese companies at least have something going for them even if their software is an iOS clone:
- Their hardware is insane
- Camera specs are top notch
- They don’t try to attack Apple or act like they’re the inventors of trends
While Samsung:
1. Ditched 10x telephoto (something they pioneered and made them unique) and switched to 5x, following Apple.
2. Now they’re about to switch to 4x on S27U, following Apple again.
3. Completely removing 3x telephoto instead of improving it, and falling back to a 3-camera system, like Apple.
4. Switched from aluminum to titanium when Apple did, and then switched back when Apple did.
5. Decided to make a wide fold following Apple’s Duo leaks, but completely missed the software details from Duo.
6. They’re about to switch to a camera plateau like iPhone 17 and 18 series following Apple again, even though their own design is iconic.
But the problem is not that they copy. The problem is their social media is just so weird and cringe. They act like they’re being copied while it’s clearly the other way around.
On top of that, their phones aren’t even as competitive anymore.
A few years ago, S22U, S23U, and even S24U were competing neck to neck with iPhones of that time. Even beating them in a lot of cases.
But now we’re at a point where the current iPhone is so much better.
We’re living in a time where iPhone 18 Pro Max has a bigger battery than S26 Ultra, and the small 18 Pro is lasting as long, if not longer, than the gigantic S26U.
A time where an iPhone has a much better cooling system than a Samsung; something iPhone didn’t even have in 16 series.
Samsung has so much potential to be the innovators. To be the face of Android. To make great products that represent Android. But they just don’t anymore, for some reason.
oh they clocked her downnn. look at the way she’s thinking she’s freshly caught tuna tartare, whole time her tuck slipped and trade playing in her face so nasty
