Very interesting discussion. Is 'empathy' a buzzword, and is 'sympathy' out of favour? Though they mean different things, perhaps it's more of a cultural shift. Perhaps we're now acknowledging the feelings we share with people, rather than feeling a more distant pity?
@RayaKhedker@immasters Sorry to hear that Raya! I love Adam's explanation, language is a moving thing. But also, you learned the rules of English in a more formal way, so it's understandable why it jars!
@RiverstoneSaga@KristinaSuko It can really help with views - have a client (builder, not a writer) who has a youtube vid on his homepage - helps people get that human connection of who he is :)
Happy Thursday Mandy!
@sadiesands7 As everyone else said, Google docs is amazing. Additionally though, there is also WordPad - it's free too and is a Windows 10 programme, but best for light formatting needs (not a proper word processor). #IThelp
@Damien_Clyburn@AlanJLSmith It frees up your evenings. That helps if you're the sort of person who ends up working late because they can't fit everything into the 9-5 (but kudos if you do!). Downside is you do need a 9pm sleep, no Netflix to yourself when the kids have gone to bedπ
