Lots of comments out there, but I can’t go to bed without declaring my total support for my nursing colleagues at work (and those in my family 😊).
We see you. We appreciate you. We want better & fairer conditions / pay for you. Without that our #NHS is doomed.
To be clear. Clearly not a catastrophe on the same level as other real world catastrophes. However the new #Twiglets recipe (to be HFSS compliant apparently) is a total disaster. @JacobsSnacks please consider giving back our favourite British snack. 😔#marmite
A little over 4 years since our son had a cardiac arrest. So grateful that he is fine & for the amazing care he has had at @uhbwNHS Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The outpatient & paediatric cardiology teams were wonderful again today. Thanks. 🙏😊
Time is ticking by for these children. I’m at work tonight in A&E & I can’t help thinking about the paediatric emergency continuing to unfold…

Today I hand over as Lead of our wonderful Children’s ED.
It has been quite a 3 years.
I’m so humble & grateful for the love & support from so many along the way.
Some asking what I learned about medical leadership. Hard to summarise, but as a start here are 3 P’s…

@hannahlames1 @MOToolePlymUni @Nurse_Lecturer @PlymUni I couldn’t agree more! The quiz is a great refresher, and I love the attention to CA - how many times have I read BUT WHY? HOW? 😆
I am not an Adult Nurse nor am I studying #NRS501 but every time I see @hannahlames1 quiz questions it makes me smile. Shout out to you and @Nurse_Lecturer for the INCREDIBLE interactive education you provide to Nurses at @PlymUni. #PlymouthGraduateAndProud
Subtle but potentially important change in @NICEComms guidance on Mx of Otitis Media
Still clear antiobiotics should NOT be used in uncomplicated OM.

A total joy to celebrate Calypso and her hard work yesterday. In three weeks two of our fantastic staff become Trainee Nursing Associates in our emergency department @uhbwNHS. We are so excited for how this role will evolve and change our future nursing workforce. #CED#TNA
