@HalstedMD@UTSWMedCenter@texmed@txp4p@TomOliverson@ZachJonesForTX They arenโt anesthesiologists and we should not be supervising them. This is wrong on so many levels. There were around when I trained, but we were not responsible for them. Their school should provide their supervision. I can only imagine who is behind this.
FINALLY! A series exposing NP substandard education and how patients are being affected by this nonsense. I have been waiting 8 f***ing years for this to happen. For a spotlight to be shined on this s**t.

PHYSICIANS!! If you hate the corporate practice of medicine(CPoM), you will love this! Envision(formerly EmCare), is exiting California, thanks to the lawsuit by AAEM-PG. Envision has been entrenched in CA forever, so this is significant. I, as a CA resident, am tickled pink.

Optum also owns OptumServe which contracts with the federal government via HHS to offer policy solutions and more.

Learn something new every day!
Today I had the opportunity to testify in front of the Budget Committee on breaking up Monopolies while Chris Kean, COO of TSAOG testified on independent physician practice in Ways and Means Health Subcommittee. There is a strong bipartisan desire to fix physician pay, break down monopolies, and allow doctors to choose the type of practice that fits them best. Thankful for the questions and discussion today!
