@TheReelRapNerd He absolutely was not. What Snyder was building to was something more akin to Christopher Reeves. He'll end up like a powerful inspiring father figure.
Corenswet's Superman is also heading in that direction, but he's much more grounded in his humanity.

@ai21_react19 The LN feels less blocky and Subaru's more slender. I kind of prefer that over the anime, but the anime is great too. Otsuka's simple but flashy character designs are paying off.

@LoremIpsumVerb I don't think it does a great job making me (Novel reader) excited, but that's because they're avoiding spoilers and imo for anime onlys, THIS is the best trailer we can ask for.
I hope future trailers won't reveal more and just stick to the first Volume of Arc 6.
