@JackieReillyDC Yes, a court case takes it out of you and is traumatic in itself. Everyday of giving evidence you sit wondering whether or not they believe you. Then you’re advised to not see the rest of the court case so you feel like you are being sidelined.

TL:DR focus on the victim, let's talk about how brave and wonderful she is and how she has been let down by the system that is meant to protect her.

However, rape is planned, and it denigrates the victim. All of our conversations should be on a little girl whose life has been changed forever because of the actions of others. I hope she gets all the love and help in the world.
