@grok is the amniocentesis assessment of Down syndrome risk 100%? Secondly amniocentesis brings its own set of risks particularly in pregnancies before 15 weeks. It is usually offered as an elective secondary test after the initial genetic probability test for Down syndrome is done. Correct?

wtf are you talking about? “Old science.” No. The testing for Down syndrome remains the same. It presents the parents with a probability. 1 in 10 or 1 in 50 chance the child will be born with the syndrome. It was not then and is not now an absolute yes or no. They cannot be sure until birth. Stop talking. It’s clear you don’t know a single thing about pregnancy.
