Today we took our Yr 10 sport students to @wlv_sport to take part in a number of team building activities as well as using their fitness testing equipment.

🏉 YR 8 RUGBY TOURNAMENT 🏉

On Monday we took our Yr 8 Rugby team to Stafford Rugby Club to take part in a rugby tournament.

The students performed very well throughout, resulting in us finishing second in the group!

On Monday we took a group of Yr 10 Girls to the University of Birmingham to take part in the Flag Football Kick Off! Students were able to take part in a number of drills which were led by Chicago Bears player Roschon Johnson!

Last week our Yr 7/8 girls football team played against Bloxwich Academy, with us coming out 2-1 winners. Our goals were scored by Mya and Charly

On Tuesday we hosted the Yr 9/10 Sandwell Schools Handball tournament. We entered two teams who performed exceptionally well finishing in first and second place!

🤾‍♂️ DODGEBALL RESULTS 🤾‍♂️

Tonight we hosted the Yr 7/8 Boys Dodgeball tournament.

We entered two teams and the students performed exceptionally well, with the two teams finishing 1st and 2nd.

This means that both teams will be representing Sandwell at the Black Country Games!

Yesterday we took 3 teams to the 3v3 Girls Basketball tournament at @Q3Tipton . One of the teams (Sephia,Maisie,Reneyah and Blessing) came 1st, winning all the matches. Our Yr 9 team (Savannah, Mmuoma, Mercy and Jamila) came 2nd!

Well done to all girls involved! 🏀

Phoenix conducted their annual Remembrance parade this morning, led by the Phoenix Combined Cadet Force and hosted by Head Teacher Mr. Mike Smith, alongside VIP Deputy Lieutenant Gurpreet Bhatia. Our school community were highly respectful during this event.❤️

- Yr 8 won 5-1 goals from Zakiah(3), Nico and Josh

- Yr 10 won 4-3 goals from Hiran, Ashdon, Zion and Alfie

🏐 YR 7 NETBALL RESULTS 🏐

Yesterday we took our Yr 7 Netball to compete in a Netball tournament. Our girls represented the school extremely well and finished in 3rd place out of 9 schools!

On Tuesday we held the U14 Sandwell School’s Netball Tournament 🏐

Out of the 13 teams, our girls came in 3rd place!

A huge thank you to The British cycling team, who came down to do a Talent ID for Year 8/9 girls. They picked up a lot of high scores with a mention to Olivia who got 800 (highest out of all girls). An amazing effort to everyone else that took part too!🚲 @PhoenixPE_
