BLOCKBUSTER: The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.
@SunSteelerS_ I find it very difficult to cheer for this guy and any excitement I feel would depend on the Suns do well, and he probably would be a big part of that. I don't know what I would do next season, but most likely I wouldn't make an effort to follow games
@SunSteelerS_ hey man, I understand. I do think it's ridiculous that we as fans are the one who needs to disconnect from the team even though we are not at fault. But for me
@GeraldBourguet I've just accepted that we as Suns fans cannot have nice things. Any excitement to see the team after last season growth just vaporated.
@Mishbia15
This ain’t even the first time I’ve told the Suns owner to fuck off, but what the actual fuck, Mat?! Your Spartan boner is so engorged you had to acquire a woman beating asshole? Vibes are dead. Have some goddamned standards. Put your finger on the pulse.
Fuck Off
To me, Miles Bridges seems like the kind of player whom a team gets stuck with and finds themselves unable to unload without including assets… as opposed to a guy another team should have to give up *anything* of value for. Due to his past actions, I will never watch Bridges with anything approaching glee. Quite the contrary, deep misgivings. Also, I don’t think he’s all that on the floor. Fail.
@letjesscook Exactly. Can't believe some are comparing this to Grayson Allen trade.
Also, we're letting this guy to be around impressionable rookies and 2nd year player like Maluach, Flemming and Peat? What message would that send?
It's one thing to get past a "bad boy" or dirty player getting traded to your team, but an actual violent abuser? Nah, man. Some things are, in fact, bigger than basketball.
And might I add, 40% of the suns fanbase are women.
Fuck that loser and this trade.
This is one of the most depressing days ever to be a Suns fan. We have learned that ownership doesn’t care about character after all, that they still don’t value three point shooting, and that they are still in ridiculous thrall to Michigan State.
@J_Kartch They can ask a few basketball questions…
“Why did you all think trading two of your best positional shooters for a woman beating child endangering Spartan a good Idea?”
“Followup, do you all know you can stop trading 1st Rounders? Especially when acquiring a toxic asshole?”
BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading Miles Bridges, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Grayson Allen, Royce O'Neale and a 2033 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
Just once when a politician evokes the “two state solution” handwave I would pay any amount of money for whoever is interviewing them to ask them to define a “Palestinian state”. Does it have a military? Full sovereignty? Can it enter into alliances with whomever it wants?
Devin Booker is changing his jersey from No. 1 to No. 15, honoring his USA Basketball uniform and the college number of his father, Melvin, sources told @ShamsCharania.
thank YOU for being so vulnerable talking about your grief.
this is just one of the many beautiful sentiments dan shared about experiencing the knicks playoff run without his dad.
all of it was profoundly meaningful:
