Why is it such a big deal to split the bill? It’s basic human decency in my opinion. That doesn’t mean you can’t treat someone else to a gift and once in a while pay the entire bill (or vice versa). Social media doesn’t dictate your life, your principles do.

When we first started going out, I was always finicky about splitting the bill or just paying the whole bill because of the “wokeness” Social Media built in me.

I would always ask him not to give me expensive gifts and will be slightly uncomfortable at the thought of him sending me anything. As much as he respected it, it would always weird him out. He planned extravagantly on my birthday and when I asked for the share I have to pay, he just said “We are together in this. You don’t have to do this to me. I want to spoil you, to treat you the way you deserve and so much more than it. Splitting bills is for Social Media. We are not them”

And I stopped pulling the cheques towards me or saying no to him. We spoil each other to our own potential. Men who are in for the long term don’t work on Splitwise basis. They don’t have an excel sheet of who paid when and how much. Same goes for women. Love is so much more than the bill you get at the end of dinner!

#Jawan is loaded with aces… Razor-sharp screenplay, attention-grabbing episodes, splendid action pieces, larger-than-life frames, peppy soundtrack, also the pace and energy never dips… However, it’s the clash of the gladiators - #SRK and #VijaySethupathi - that’s the driving force of #Jawan.

#Jawan is is bolstered by towering performances from the proficient cast… Right from #VijaySethupathi to #Nayanthara, #DeepikaPadukone and #SanjayDutt, each actor shines in this well-constructed script.

Having said that, #Jawan rightfully belongs to #SRK. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to foretell that 2023 belongs to #SRK… Now let’s hear the ROAR at the #BO.
