So, with that, I'm going to hang up my hat here. This will likely be the final tweets from this account. If you want to follow me personally, the account is @AndonRT - But don't expect much, I'm not super active on Twitter.
With that - So long, and thanks for all the fish!

So, it's been a year and change since I officially announced a hiatus.
Turns out, it's permanent. The stress, paperwork, and everything else that went into electronics was a lot, and what I got out of it was... not.

My stress levels for being in the same vicinity as the amount of people at a convention has also risen considerably since I first started. I attended the last Bronycon and I have to say. It really wasn't that enjoyable. And that's as an attendee!

@ViTheDeer @wpgFactoid @Etsy More accurately: I have badges, and can totally sell them. I'm just going low-key for the time being. Don't have the time or money to go full bore.
Sad to not be able to visit the NYC Maker Faire as planned, but some things came up and I am unable to attend. Perhaps next year! I did hope everyone there has a fantastic time.

Got the newest R2 from @PCBWayOfficial - Assembled it and everything's great. Except the SD slot, but that's not a surprise. Those things are hard to hand solder.
So, after putting together the Mini R2, I've found the following issues:
1 - Power LED connected to an input-only pin. Oops!
2 - No reverse voltage protection.
3 - Bad reads for measuring battery when switched off (Running via FTDI or otherwise)
4 - Several silkscreen issues
The silkscreen stuff was largely simple. Move this designator over a millimeter so it's not caught in a hole. Add an indicator for Pin 1 for ICSP. Add an indicator for On/Off for the power switch.
The third was solved with a pull-down resistor. Finding a free spot for that was interesting. Squeezed betweeen two buttons. Being a four-layer board, though, it wasn't difficult to route.
PCBs acquired this afternoon from @PCBWayOfficial - The SD slot was problematic, but third time is the charm.
Only issue I can see so far is that I didn't pay enough attention. Power LED is connected to A7 - Which is read-only. Oops!
I have to say, new buttons are super great.
