A 17 YEAR-OLD GIRL NEVER RETURNED HOME AT MHINGA VILLAGE

SASELAMANI-The South African police services in Saselamani under Vembe district have launched a search operation for a missing woman known Vuyela Leon Mabasa, age 17 residing at Mhinga zone1 Villlge outside Saselamani.

She allegedly went missing on Friday 12 December 2025.According to the complainant who is the father of the Victim alleged that he phone her daughter request her to focus on education and stop the issue of boyfriend/s.Her father spoke to her boyfriend (Gudani) and told him that he must leave his daughter alone because he was staying with her at her father in law house at Mhinga.

The very same date on Friday the victim left home with his friend telling one of her relatives that she is accompanying her boyfriend to unknown place.The complainant is not aware about the type of clothes that was wearing by the victims during his appearance

She is a grade 10 learner at Ripambeta high school at Mhinga village Zone 03.She is not mental patient.

Katlego left home in Potchefstroom to attend an audition at a private studio in Sandton, Gauteng. He did arrive at the studio and auditioned for two days, after which he left. However, he has not returned home.

His phone was last tracked to suspicious flats in the area, but despite efforts, the police were unable to locate him or the phone.

We are appealing to the public for any information that could help reunite Katlego with his family.
