NEW: DHS is accusing MN Gov. Tim Walz of trying to shield a Laotian illegal alien pedophile from being deported after Walz pardoned him for a 2006 conviction in which he repeatedly raped a 10-year-old girl in MN. DHS says Tou Lue Vang was issued a deportation order immediately after that conviction and was set to be imminently deported, but the pardon has now removed his deportable offenses and given him a clean record, which may thwart his removal and give him an avenue to fight deportation.
WARNING GRAPHIC DETAILS BELOW:
According to Vang's conviction documents from the state of Minnesota, in 2004, he repeatedly had penetrative sex with the 10-year-old girl on multiple occasions and forced oral sex upon her in which he ejaculated into her mouth. He told police "I made a mistake, but this is a minor thing...it's a cultural thing to marry and have sex with girls as young as 12." He also said the child should be arrested and she was also at fault.
Vang ultimately took a plea deal to plead guilty to the offense of first degree criminal sexual conduct. NYT reports he served no prison time as part of the deal.
Vang was pardoned for the offense last month by the Minnesota Board of Pardons, which is made up of the MN Governor, MN Attorney General, and Chief Justice of the MN Supreme Court. All pardons must be approved by the MN Governor.
DHS is now blasting the decision:
“Governor Tim Walz's decision to pardon an illegal alien convicted child rapist so he can remain in our country is disgusting,” said Acting DHS Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “These are the criminal illegal aliens he and his Minnesota sanctuary politicians are protecting. Tou Lue Vang lost his legal status following his conviction for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Following the conviction, he was placed in removal proceedings and issued a final order of removal by a judge. This pardon will take away this child rapist’s qualifying convictions that made him removable from the United States.”
Palantir's CEO just exposed Sam Altman and Dario Amodei for robbing every Fortune 500 company.
Within two minutes, Alex Karp took the entire frontier AI industry apart on national television.
His exact words:
"Every single enterprise in this country, these people are LIVID. They are paying for tokens that create no value. These people are stealing the weights and alpha of my business."
He literally said the entire frontier AI business model is intellectual property extraction dressed up as a subscription.
Then he also destroyed the pricing model with a single question that Silicon Valley still refuses to answer:
"If it was so valuable, let's say I can make you $1 billion tomorrow. Wouldn't I say I'll make you $1 billion and I want 30 percent? Why are they charging for tokens if it's so valuable?"
That question breaks the industry.
If OpenAI and Anthropic's models truly delivered the productivity gains the labs claim, they would take equity or a share of the profit they generate. They would not sell access by the million tokens.
Token pricing is itself the CONFESSION that the product cannot produce reliable value at scale. If it did, they would price for the value. But they price for the compute because that is what they are actually selling.
Karp went even further...
He called the entire arrangement "a wealth tax that does not help the poor. It just punishes."
American businesses are transferring the alpha of their operations, meaning the workflows, the customer data, the strategy memos, the internal models that make them competitive, directly into the training pipelines of a handful of Silicon Valley labs. Once those labs retrain, the customer's own edge becomes the next enterprise product sold back to their competitors.
And the part the AI industry does not want anyone thinking about:
Every enterprise running its confidential documents, its customer conversations, and its financial models through a frontier model is potentially teaching that model HOW to replace them.
The vendor collects the token fee AND the compounding intelligence about that customer's business. That is the mechanism. And that is why Karp used the word "stealing."
He claims this is why every executive he meets is furious in private and silent in public. Nobody wants to be the CEO who called out the labs and then discovered their next competitor was built on their own leaked workflows.
The entire AI industry has been priced for perfection on one assumption:
That frontier labs produce durable, defensible value that justifies infinite compute spend.
But Karp just told us that the customers do not believe that assumption anymore. They believe they are being taxed without benefit, watched without consent, and copied without recourse.
The moment enterprises stop believing, the whole valuation stack shakes.
Your gas tax goes up again on July 1. You won't get to vote on it. You never have.
Here's the part Richmond is counting on you to miss: in 2020, Democrats in the General Assembly tied Virginia's gas tax to inflation — so it raises itself, automatically, every single July. No vote. No roll call. No fingerprints.
The result? The state gas tax has DOUBLED in six years — from 16.2 cents a gallon in 2020 to 32.6 cents this week.
Glenn Youngkin tried to give drivers a break with a three-month suspension. Senate Democrats killed it, 21-18.
They built a tax that raises itself so they'd never have to put their names on it. Their names are on something else: every State Senate and House of Delegates seat on your ballot in November 2027.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that Olaolukitan Adon Abel, the suspect arrested for a seemingly random murder spree in DeKalb County, GA that left two women dead and a homeless man shot, is a national of the United Kingdom who was naturalized into a US citizen during the Biden administration in 2022.
DHS confirms to FOX that one of the victims, 40-year-old Lauren Bullis, was a DHS employee who worked in the DHS Office of the Inspector General. She was found stabbed and shot to death while walking her dog.
Abel faces two counts of murder, aggravated assault, and weapons charges after police say he carried out an early morning shooting spree in three separate locations in DeKalb County, GA on Monday, shooting and killing a woman in front of a Checkers, shooting and stabbing Lauren Bullis to death while she was walking her dog, and shooting a homeless man several times in front of a shopping center. Motive is unknown.
DHS confirms that Abel had a lengthy rap sheet prior to this incident, including prior convictions for sexual battery, battery against a police officer, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Fun fact: it gets even crazier 🤪
Siad Barre’s brother, Abdirahman Jama Barre (also known as Jama Barre), who served as the longest-serving foreign minister of Somalia, gained asylum in San Diego in the 1990s.
Today, Siad Barre’s nephew, Abadir Barre, runs an immigration law firm in manhattan that he claims has helped thousands of people gain legal status.
This same nephew filed a civil lawsuit against the Trump Administration in 2020.
We just took another major step toward finally closing Rikers Island.
By permanently closing a jail and transferring three properties to DCAS, we're moving closer to closing Rikers for good.
Our City's resources should be invested in rehabilitation, restoration, and a smaller, more humane jail system.

Reporter: Sixty-two percent of Democrats say they prefer socialism over capitalism.
Joe Manchin: If they do, there isn’t a Democratic Party left. I can’t put up with that crazy shit. That’s nuts!
Nothing screams TRUE SOCIALIST like:

Extradited Smuggler Pleads Guilty in Massive Human Smuggling Operation
A Mexican national extradited to the U.S. has pleaded guilty to helping run an international human smuggling network that illegally brought 2,500 to 3,000 migrants from countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Egypt, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Ecuador into the United States.
Federal prosecutors say the organization operated for nearly three years, charged $6,500 to $12,000 per person, and generated an estimated $16 million to $30 million in profits.
Authorities say Efrain Zuniga-Garcia managed a stash house in Monterrey, Mexico, where migrants were housed before being guided across the Rio Grande into Texas.
He faces a mandatory minimum of three years in federal prison when sentenced. @TheJusticeDept
Employment in AI-linked sectors is contracting:
Over the last 3 months, AI-affected sectors posted an average monthly decline of -11,000 jobs.
This includes roles in management consulting, graphic design, office administration, telephone call centers, computer systems, software publishers, and web search.
Since mid-2023, there have been only 2 months with a net increase in employment in these sectors.
By comparison, at its 2022 peak, employment in these industries increased by as much as +55,000 jobs per month.
Furthermore, employers cited AI as the reason for 38,579 job cuts in May, the highest monthly total on record, according to Challenger Gray data.
This marks the 3rd consecutive monthly increase since ~5,000 in February.
The impact of AI on the labor market is becoming increasingly visible.
Supreme Court Rules Cell Phone Location Data Protected Under Fourth Amendment: 'No government official should have free access' https://t.co/yCWOO0wYfj
America’s ruling class has performed another miracle.
They took the most basic truths in human civilization ... crime needs punishment, borders need enforcement, schools should teach, welfare should be temporary, families matter, merit matters, and taxpayers should not be looted by professional parasites ... and somehow rebranded all of that as “extremism.”
Incredible work, really.
Apparently, a “compassionate” society is one where the violent repeat offender gets another chance, the victim gets a candlelight vigil, the taxpayer gets the bill, the schoolkid gets passed along illiterate, the fraudster gets a grant, the NGO gets another contract, the illegal alien gets services, and the working American gets told to shut up and be more inclusive.
What a beautiful system.
Soft justice did not stay in the courtroom. It metastasized. It became soft borders, soft schools, soft parenting, soft welfare, soft standards, soft men, and soft bureaucrats explaining why every obvious solution is “too harsh.”
Lock up predators? Cruel.
Deport illegals? Hateful.
End generational welfare? Lacking empathy.
Punish fraud? Complicated.
Restore merit? Problematic.
Teach kids to read? Probably colonialism by Tuesday.
A serious country protects the innocent from the guilty. A decaying country protects the guilty from consequences and makes the innocent finance the experiment.
That’s America’s real crisis.
Not poverty. Not “root causes.” Not another fake expert panel.
Consequences.
We stopped imposing them on the people destroying the country, so now the country imposes them on everyone else.
