Throwing you a curve on a Friday #chicago #trains

[Metra BNSF @metraBNSF]

A BNSF Railway freight train has derailed in their yard just west of Eola Road in Aurora. At this time it is blocking two of three mainline tracks between the Route 59 and Aurora Stations. BNSF Railway is working to clear the tracks as soon as possible.

[Metra BNSF @metraBNSF]

Due to a freight train derailment near Cicero, there will be some delays for inbound and outbound trains. There is a track open, but bottlenecks due to the single track and reduced speeds will result in delays.
