NEW: The Duke of Kent, as President of @RNLI, is attending the Service of Thanksgiving, celebrating the institution's 200th anniversary at @wabbey.

The 88-year-old cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, and working royal, is using a walking stick to help keep him mobile.

About 10 years ago I was asked to shoot the unit stills for a comedy pilot. The working title was, 'Kerry' and was all about the protagonist's life in modern rural Britain. The title eventually changed to This Country, and the rest, as they say, is comedy history....
