@ThatChrisGore@RealLifeFakeWiz Oh no. Seeing it tomorrow and now you have me anticipating a "But, dad!" "Did you just call me Butt Dad?" -grade joke like in Jack Frost (the Michael Keaton one).
@4CatRanch@abxlarge You are asking the right questions. Also the very faint "brown hair. Change the name" caption at the top. Suggesting AI Engagement-Bait.
@ERCboxoffice You putting Marty in there made me think of all the video essays that will come out explaining how Backrooms and Obsession are both about anxieties over AI.
@jbillinson It was a front for a criminal organization to launder money and smuggle Oxycodone (hence the uncharacteristic safe gun). Bear and Ian will be suspected as dealers and the police will believe Nikki was defending herself after Bear OD'ed and Ian attacked her in fit of rage.
@Realmoeadelx Even though it's low quality I always stop to watch this clip because I love how they sync up the percussion of the score with her screaming at the end.
@litttiichokha I was thinking about that ending just today. She gains her freedom but the most likely outcome is she loses it in another way. Bleak punch to the gut.
@volkstyles@EmpireCityBO@FocusFeatures The allure of the "scariest movie ever" with "the best performance ever someone in a horror film". Strong word of mouth with a little mystique of a movie that just seemed to appear for many people.
