I haven’t used my camera since the pandemic hit. I’ve felt too miserable. But this evening the light & rising mist was stunning so I snapped this with my iPhone #photographer
The beach overlooks Coquet Island which is a nature reserve, we sailed around it to look at the puffins and gannets from a distance. One of my favourite places in the world.
I've travelled all over the world, but actually right now I'd be happy to visit Northumbria, a beautiful place. This is the beach next to my friends house in #Hauxley#Northumberland
Some of the most beautiful sunsets, probably in the world. Some of these photos were actually used by Springwatch on their social media a few years which I was delighted about.
At some times of year, you can see the Milky Way from my Aunts back garden. I've always loved astrophotography (see my Northern Lights pictures!) as its a quiet & peaceful activity #Crete
My memories keep me happy until I can go visit again.
Last time we found this wonderful little museum which a farmer had made from artifacts he'd dug up on his farm. This one made me think of the Disney film WALL-E #Crete
A rare photo with me in it! I loved my time in India, I've been twice & explored a lot of #Rajasthan with
@ExodusTravels
& hope to travel to Kerala sometime in the future.
No photography sharing is complete without the #TajMahal! I've been lucky to visit twice, once at sunrise and once at sunset. This is sunset. I actually sold one of these photos, I was super proud....
...Then I discovered it had been used for a travel article describing how the renovation work to the #TajMahal ("the face lift") had led to a less than perfect Taj! 🤣Ah well, it was still a beautiful sight. I love #Rajasthan so much.
On the last night there I put my camera down, this is one of my final photos. I laid back in the snow in my snowsuit & I watched. You have to be in the dark for a long time for your eyes to see the light show & this was a week before my eye surgery. I wanted to remember it all.
I've shared this before I am sure, but the #NorthernLights never get old really go they? One of the most stunning nights of my life, watching the #Aurora over Abisko in Lapland. Probably my most brilliant photography experience ever.

#Lapland is so still, so quiet. I always feel like photography in this kind of setting needs to be silent, its such a peaceful activity. Taking these photos taught me a lot about appreciation and patience!
I watched a great program last week about Pompeii and was reminded of the great time I had visiting it in October last year (although Herculaneum was the real hidden treasure!)
