I told my therapist,
“I keep falling for people who never really choose me back.”
She didn't give me comfort.
Hearing her, my whole body went still.
Here's what she just replied:
My girl sent me the cutest digital invite for a lunch date, and it ended up turning into dinner ’cause time ran away from us, but she still hosted, cooked, and made it feel incredibly special. 🥺❤️
Lowkey one of the best moments I’ve had in a minute.🧎🏾
My ‘anti-bride’ era… 🖤

@Resego_blaq My late father told me that I should make sure I am well established as a woman, said that once you have a child, be strong enough to raise the child alone.
You never know when men will start switching up on you.
Unfortunately.
I asked my mentor:
“ How To Make The Greatest Comeback Of My Life?”
He replied:
“ Become a ghost “ Go Ghost: upgrade Your Life in Silence
I again asked “ How to have a successful ghost mode season?”
He replied:
Here’s How To Go Ghost Mode:
1. Read. You could be the most powerful person on the planet if you could read peoples thoughts. When you read a book, you are in fact, reading peoples thoughts. Read widely. Read for knowledge and depth. Take notes in the margins of your books.
Give yourself permission to not finish books right away or at all. Most people fail reading books because they think if they start to read one they have to keep reading until they’re finished in a short amount of time feel free to scan or jump chapters. It’s not a contest, you’re reading for yourself and what you can get out of it.
Create your own library and not one just for show.
__
2. Journal. They say that reading helps you understand the world and writing helps you understand yourself. If you want to be better one day to the next, take time to reflect on things you need to change about yourself or your circumstances.
__
3. Be humble enough to respect the authority of the truth. Don’t get caught up in this whole, my truth, your truth nonsense.
There’s a lot of people who’ve made serious errors in life, but stuck with it because it was “their truth” -it doesn’t matter if you’re sincere if you’re not right, in fact, it could even be more harmful in the end. Many people and sometimes large groups of people are very sincere and still make very bad decisions. Many men throughout the ages have been very sincere, but died fighting for what turned out in the end to be nothing short of their own or someone else’s lie.
__
4. Learn to be comfortable being alone. You will be alone in life more often than you realize if you’re trying to accomplish anything worthy. Overtime you’ll come to realize that many people in life view your relationship as transactional meaning that they’re your friend when they need you to be your friend but when you need them, they do not show up.
If you can’t be comfortable being alone, overtime, you will discover that you have compromised on things you’ve sincerely believed and and may have even traded your integrity in order to keep people around you. It’s not worth it.
You may be alone from time to time, but it will never be permanent and overtime it will be less often as people come to understand that you’re somebody Who plays a premium on your own personal sense of integrity and honor.
“If it is worth saying or doing, it is worth being criticized for saying or doing.”
Marcus Aurelius.

5. Be kind. You’ll discover that many people don’t have what it takes to be alone I don’t have the spinal fortitude to stand against the crowd. Secretly people will respect you for being somebody that they cannot be but outwardly, they will try to attack you and bring you down into the mud with them. Be kind to them. Not so much for their sake, but for yours.
__
6. Be quick to forgive. You have a limited amount of emotion in your life - spend it wisely and where it matters and on people it matters too. Forgive people and repair relationships or forgive people so you can forget them and move on.
I’ll stop here for now.
Raising an introverted child is a lesson in observation. Their dad was supposed to collect them yesterday & return them 8 Jan (for a visit to his family). I could see that my 17yr was edgy the min I reminded him to pack.
An introvert can't stomach people for more than 5 days...
i’m still 17, but watching the world, here’s what i’ve learned:
if she does these things, she wouldn’t qualify to be my wife:
1. drinks or smokes regularly.
it’s not about judging her habits — it’s about the lifestyle they represent.
a queen protects her mind and body.
2. too friendly with other men.
it’s not about trust — it’s about boundaries.
i don’t trust other guys, and she shouldn’t give them access to her energy so easily.
3. addicted to validation.
if she’s glued to her phone, seeking attention from strangers online, it shows she needs external approval to feel worthy.
4. no respect for family.
if she talks down to her parents or disrespects mine, she’s already disqualified.
a woman who can’t value family can’t build one.
5. lacks ambition or vision.
i want a partner, not a passenger.
if she’s not working on herself, she’s not ready to grow with me.
6. plays games instead of being real.
i value honesty and clarity.
if she’s all about testing me, manipulating situations, or hiding intentions, she’s not wife material.
i’ve seen too many men ignore these red flags and pay the price later.
a wife isn’t just a partner — she’s a reflection of you, your values, and the future you want to build.
choose wisely, because the wrong one will destroy everything you’ve worked for.

i feel sorry for women nowadays. most women aren’t loved passionately or treated right. they’re expected to do everything, yet receive very little in return. now i understand why so many are single by choice and difficult to approach
@AusBassie I thank God for life, battling sickeness (diabetes type 2 and high blood pressure) because of excess stress and exhaustion. I thank Him for helping and seeing me through difficult situations, when I look back I wouldn’t have made it without his love support and strength.
