@NaidahYazdani@DanielPriestley High earners were taxed very highly in most Western Post ww2 countries. It lead to 50 years of massive growth and better quality of life, it allowed the NHS, welfare state, free education, motorways, home ownership for the masses. It all went wrong when these taxes were lowered.
@andrewhesselden@DanielPriestley Any half smart guy with more than 10m in wealth will earn atleast 5-6% a year in growth. If we take 2% of only the bit over 10m then they will still have ~4% growth. So it won't dwindle it will still grow, just by a tiny amount less.
If your worth 11m, you'll pay 20k a year.
