@chicreq @gldivittorio As a lifeguard, there are places that use them, but most of the time the Helo is needed to fish them out since most beaches don't have the hardware (jetskis, boats etc), so even before they get drones up they call the Coast Guard. 99.99% of the time the helo gets there in time

@Fan3Usmnt @SergioSpcuam @VicOlorunfemi10 His wild length also leads to him making tackles from pretty far away when I'd rather see him close the distance and make a cleaner tackle, but when he's man-marking he plays really close and his tackling is really consistent so it should be fixable

@Fan3Usmnt @SergioSpcuam @VicOlorunfemi10 I played CDM, so my thoughts on him are that he's a good defender face to face, he struggles when he has to flip his hips and mirror wingers but has moments that are really good. Hesitates to step out to win the ball sometimes, but chooses good times when he does go

@gtj24 @ttiddg12 Xavi wasn't a box-to-box guy in either role or responsibility though, both he and Iniesta played as 10s with more defensive responsibility than normal, but thats standard in high-press systems, especially Spanish ones. Sullivan could have a future as a 10, but not a standard 8

@deadleaves_ @SpursNation_SA Soccer players do more sprints and more explosive cuts in a game (admittedly spread over longer time), and ACL tears are non-contact 95% of the time. I genuinely don't mean to be an asshole, but I think your understanding of the mechanism of an ACL tear is wrong

@Chan_man0 @JayAlex03427728 @JaguarGator9NFL It's less that they hit their prime earlier, but they're capable of competing earlier because it's less reliant on physical development and maturity. Endurance and speed generally comes earlier than strength, but the prime for most players is still like 28-32

@JayAlex03427728 @JaguarGator9NFL If a player from 18-22 is isolated from playing even MLS level soccer, their development is really lackluster, especially with the lack of coaching quality the US has. Development in soccer is also heavily affected by the players around you, ESPECIALLY on their technical play
