Had a good time yesterday helping to kick off my last G.A.I.N. event as @PhoenixPolice Chief yesterday. One of the best things about this job has been being with community members.
Honored to present at @MjrCitiesChiefs Police Executive Leadership Institute. So great to be a part of developing the next generation of police leaders.
Thank you to the @USAO_AZ for hosting a listening session yesterday to discuss addressing violent crime with community representatives. Thanks to those who attended. We hear you.
Honored to testify this morning in front of the US Senate Judiciary Committee in D.C. on the impact of gun violence on our youth. Proud to represent @PhoenixPolice and @MajorCityChief
WELCOME HOME OFFICER TYLER MOLDOVAN! π
A little over 5 months ago, Officer Tyler Moldovan was shot multiple times while on duty. Since then, he's been in an out-of-state rehab facility. Today, he returned home. The ENTIRE department couldn't be more proud of you, Tyler!
Thanks to @HonorHealth for caring for our officers. Most specifically those in critical incidents. Since 2018 ten PPD officers have been rushed to honor health facilities.
The staff and care team provide world-class care.
On behalf of the @PhoenixPolice department, thank you!
I'm incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to speak about our incredible department at #FBILEEDA2022 to many police leaders from all over the country. This conference is so important to reflect on training & education with some of the greatest minds in the industry.
As we take a moment to catch our breath and reflect, we want to say THANK YOU. To our community for your well wishes for our injured officer, to all who called in with tips, to all of our employees who worked tirelessly, and thank you to our LE partners for their help & support.
I am humbled at the pure tenacity shown by our officers involved in the incident where a @PhoenixPolice officer was shot. Talking with @azfamily about the great work from all involved and the outpouring of community support.
.@SilentwitnessAZ has announced a reward of $5,000 for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of Nicholas Cowan. Please call (480)-WITNESS or (480)-TESTIGO for Spanish. You will remain anonymous.

THANK YOU
To our community who has shown their love and support since yesterday morningβs terrifying ordeal, we feel the love. We are honored to protect and serve this community. 1/2

I am so proud of the courageous men and women of @PhoenixPolice. 5 officers were shot and 4 others injured in an act of violence that critically injured a woman.
While they heal from their wounds, their brothers and sisters in blue will be back out there answering when you call
