John Casablancas—founder of Elite Model Management—Trump and John knew each other socially and Trump hosted and helped sponsor John’s Look of the Year contests.

Former contestants and insiders recall that Trump and Casablancas jointly hosted dinners and events for teenage contestants, some as young as 14–15 years old, in environments that have since been described as exploitative.

Investigative accounts describe an environment where young models entering Elite were pressured into drugs, alcohol, sex, and partying culture. At least two early recruits died within a year of joining .

Casablancas himself admitted in interviews about his preference for younger women, same with Trump and Epstein, stating that part of the modeling business was being attracted to “woman-child” ideals.

In the late 1980s a 15-year-old model was sent by Elite to a supposed casting in a private Manhattan residence, where she encountered Jeffrey Epstein, undressed, and was subsequently assaulted. The matter was later settled with Epstein’s estate.

And Trump took Casablancas’ exploitative structure to create his own modeling agency, Trump Model Management (founded in 1999)… he used it as a private source for models. Trump also brought in models from overseas to work in the United States illegally, while refusing to pay what was promised, leaving them in a foreign country with no money.
