Hi everyone, PhysioScout here. Welcome back to the new season! Let me give you an introduction to what I do.
I analyse football injuries and attempt to give you timeframes on how long your favourite player or FPL, SoRare asset is out for with the help of video analysis and my expertise.
Despite it being hard to believe, we're able to take a look at injuries, the mechanism on how it happened and give you a pretty great estimate on the recovery times, before your clubs even tell you!
Obviously, nothing will be as good as the traditional MRI scan and X-Ray. Sometimes we may get it wrong. But we have a great hit rate, just check out our page!
Whether it's to help out with your FPL selections or to see how injuries may affect your team. Give us a follow!

Kaoru Mitoma had to come off in Brighton vs. Wolves with a hamstring injury.
Was seen clutching his upper hamstring after decelerating from a sprint. Mitoma also needed crutches to leave the Amex.
Hurzeler added that “It didn't look great." Mechanism looks like more of a grade 2-3 hamstring strain.
Expected Recovery Times:
Grade 2 Hamstring: 4-6 weeks
Grade 3 Hamstring: 8-12 weeks
Japanese coach Moriyasu added "We're hoping it turns out to be a minor issue but the impression I'm hearing from them is that it may not be a minor injury."
Let's hope it's just a minor issue as Mitoma is integral to the Japanese team and Brighton.

Ben White had to be substituted with a right knee injury in Arsenal vs. West Ham.
Simultaneous ball strike + high velocity to the inner foot transfers force/stress into the medial knee. Usually indicates an MCL injury. Best case is a bone bruise.
Arteta added that ‘it doesn’t look good’.
Expected Recovery Times
Grade 1 MCL: 1-3 weeks
Grade 2 MCL: 4-6 weeks
Grade 3 MCL: 8+ weeks
If bone bruise: 1 week (unlikely)
Arsenal's medical staff were also seen palpating the inner side of the knee + preparing for a valgus stress test, which points towards an MCL blow.
Hopefully he avoids this, and a fast recovery is facilitated.

As spoken about on the podcast, completely feasible Alvarez was training through a medial ankle sprain injury, or something more serious.
Hopefully he pulls up okay now.

Are Arsenal running their players into the ground compared to PSG/Bayern?
