Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared a warm hug with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron at the end of Bastille Day celebrations in Paris.

During the parade hundreds of soldiers from pro-Ukrainian countries marched down the Champs-Elysees in what France said would be a symbol of Europe's strategic awakening. 25 Ukrainian soldiers also joined in the march.

Their embrace comes a day after Zelenskyy joined 25 world leaders for a summit of the so-called 'Coalition of the Willing' in support of Ukraine in its war against Russia.
