Happy #MagPiMonday on a Tuesday part3.
This weekend I reviewed every single @RaspberryPi HAT/pHAT/wHAT/Shim and Bonnet I could find (over 200!). Shout out to @PiPinout for lots of great information too!

With 200+ Raspberry Pi HATs, pHATs, Bonnets, and other add-on board @PiPinout, I have to propose a fix to the horrible disinformation on the web site: https://t.co/K6iY2Evk8G
Here is my PR: https://t.co/05fSZyrqkh
PS: If accepted, all the translator will have to be waken up.
@iamhodgy@Raspberry_Pi Definitely on the roadmap! After adding some other boards that are least somewhat match the Pico form factor and are conducive to this layout 🤣

@ZodiusInfuser Always worth raising an issue if there’s a particular view you want on the data- the scripts aren’t too tricky to write, but the codebase is a horrendous mess.
Thank you to all Patreon supporters new and old- your continued support is tremendously appreciated!
Just in case you were wondering why I’d been a bit quiet lately- meet baby Xander:
@ZodiusInfuser It should be possible to generate a table of boards and pins that shows a complete overview of usage across everything we’ve catalogued. Would be immense but interesting!
@ZodiusInfuser We have some basic scripts for generating these kinds of numbers, but can’t attest that the Pinout data of contributed boards is 100% correct. It gives a good overall distribution though.
@StuffedBoot Interesting suggestion! A link somewhere with a legend is a good idea.
1. The little black “pips” indicate used ground pins (trying not to be too visibly noisy)
2. Sandy pins are those used by the HAT/pHAT
3. Black pins are power, so they’re used but they can be shared
