@JonathanShedler I knew I was at the right school when I walked into the classroom that had huge letters spelling out “GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY” on the wall! It is largely the educators responsibility to train and prepare a new music therapist to become comfortable being uncomfortable.

And here is what the screen on my computer looks like in speaker view. (I enable an audio connection on phone instead of computer, makes tutorials easier: switch from gallery to speaker view). Is great that you can record and send parts of the lessons as tutorials for practice :)

Here is a photo of my student and me in a remote lesson. My students usually use one or two devices. If only one, they either have to move it from the music stand to the edge/lip of the keyboard, or angle it downward like in this shot

How are others doing remote lessons, if you are? I have been teaching using Zoom on my laptop and iPhone. I set up a tripod and attached my phone using one of those magnetic mounts for using GPS on your phone in the car
