👀 When God hid the body of Moses so they wouldn't worship him I thought that was a little much
Boy was I wrong
God personally buries Moses and the text goes out of its way to say nobody knows the spot. The implication is pretty blunt: even the greatest prophet’s body was not supposed to become a shrine, a relic, or an object people would process around and crown. The concern wasn’t theoretical. Ancient Near Eastern cultures already did that with kings, heroes, and ancestors.
When they did that guinese record gathering to clap... It was a show of force and a sign of the not so quiet desperation of a young population that is precarious at best, and languishing in general.
It's an indictment on our society that such a pied piper can arise amidst us.

@OgojoNELSON@KwikirizaNova You remind me of Christ being tempted in the desert. “if you are the son of God…tell these stones to become bread” Mathew 4:3
@MaryNaturinda_ Dont get me started on how cramped the kitchens and bathrooms are at that amount. The kamanyiro of the housing industry in this country
