@Jones98__@WomensGameMIB She didn't connect with the studs. The referee COULD have chosen to give only a yellow. And that is where the mistake is. Of the rules allow for a yellow there, then the ref should've only given a yellow, using some reason.
@Jipper315 It was a clear foul though. The referee even put the whistle to his mouth, but didn't have the confidence to call it. Perhaps home stadium nerves. Unacceptable in a final.
@gentosterone Also using the bought ref talking point is hilarious, seeing as it's been known for 10 years that wasn't the case and the investigation and trial was a sham in 2006
@IFTVofficial Instead of talking about it and bringing it to light, they "correctly and professionally" handled it and got nowhere, meanwhile the rest of the clubs big mouths controlled the PR and public perception, and won out in the end.
@IFTVofficial This club is politically correct to a fault. Looks what they did/didn't do during calciopoli. They let themselves be destroyed with no evidence, and then when evidence came out later that Inter actually fixed matches, Juve went the court route - which in Italy means corruption.
@capuanogio Scelgono loro dove mettere la linea. Quando è così vicino, quindi letteralmente scelgono loro e DECIDERE di annullare il gol oppure no. È una vergogna.
@JUKKL_DE@archiert1 Not saying they don't deserve it. It's just a small club feeling around. Celebrating making a final as if they already won it, etc... easy to see their winning cycle will be very short lived.
@archiert1 Serious lack of class from leverkusen overall. Considering Xabi Alonso oozes class, it's a shame he hasn't been able to inject any into the club along with his incredible record.
