Many years of hard work went into the Poseidon family of hashes, and they have provided great real-world value on Ethereum and elsewhere and will continue to do so for several years. They are the reason why it's fast to generate a client-side SNARK for a modern privacy-protocol.

The fact that we have ultra-fast general-purpose STARKs (mid-three-digit overhead for basically any batched computation) and may well soon drop to double-digit or even lower is more amazing than anything that we had been hoping for in the early 2020s.

Rumor is going around that https://t.co/ZkepX0VIa5 is integrating HyperEVM. People spotted a domain registered under https://t.co/3uHtaHaNeA that points that way.

If it actually happens, I’m wondering whether it’s just going to be another simple integration where you can buy HyperEVM memecoins inside the https://t.co/ZkepX0VIa5 app, or if they’ll go further and let people launch memes directly.

Looking at what they did with Robinhood and other EVM chains, they mostly just made buying available. So my guess is it’ll be the same this time.

That got me thinking, HyperEVM still doesn’t really have a proper launchpad with clean UI/UX that anyone can just jump in and use. I’ve been keeping an eye on https://t.co/MaxX7R5Ty7. It’s a multi-EVM launchpad that already supports BNB, Robinhood, HyperEVM and more. The interface feels genuinely friendly and smooth, one of the better ones I’ve seen. It also has a bunch of features most other launchpads don’t offer, like setting burn share, buyback and burn, or fee splits right when you create the token, plus vamp prevention.

Anyway, we still need a proper runner on HyperEVM that can actually fuel some hype, the same way Cashcat did on Robinhood.

And I think running “Chameleon” makes the most sense. Before Hyperliquid, @chameleon_jeff ran Chameleon Trading it was named after his old gaming handle when he was younger. That origin story gives the same kind of vibe Cashcat had.

Memeable name and it just feels suitable as a runner on HyperEVM.
