The Pickersleigh Community Garden Group is made up of local residents & @FortisLiving. Together we are creating a brand new community garden for Malvern.
Remember back in the summer when the garden was judged by the Royal Horticultural Society? Well...... We were awarded a level 3 ๐ We think this is quite an achievement for a garden in its first year and it's all down to the hard work of our fantastic volunteers ๐ป
Are you brave enough to join us for the #Pickersleigh Halloween Party at #Malvern Town FC? ๐
There will be a creepy disco, spooky arts & crafts, pumpkin carving and more. This is a free event but spaces are limited so you MUST book your place(s) ๐
The garden is run by the community for the community and we're always grateful for donations of plants or equipment from local businesses or individuals #ThreeCountiesHour
Hi #ThreeCountiesHour we're a new community garden in Malvern. We have regular gardening mornings every Tuesday 10am-12pm everyone welcome to come along ๐ถ๏ธ ๐ https://t.co/qXC9wCyqhg
We had another productive morning at our regular Tuesday gardening session. Lots of produce picked and some seeds planted late in hopes that the warm weather continues ๐ถ๏ธ๐ฅ๐๐ป
As much as we've enjoyed the โ๏ธ some ๐ง๏ธ at the weekend was very welcome.
The bees are loving all of our sunflowers and we've planted some late season potatoes that will be ready later in the year.
In #Malvern and want to get involved? We meet every Tuesday at 10am ๐๐ป
We welcomed the @RHSBloom judges to the garden today.
Our volunteers have worked tirelessly to keep the garden in top condition despite the heat and dry weather.
We'll know how we got on later in the summer but we couldn't be more proud of what we've achieved so far ๐ฑ๐๐ ๐ผ
All the watering ๐ฆ is paying off, the garden is looking fantastic and we had a bumper harvest of our Charlotte potatoes plus some peas and courgettes. If youโre in Malvern and you fancy joining us we meet every Tuesday morning at 10am everyone welcome ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฅ
First day in the office after a couple of weeks away...so whatโs better than doing a bit of watering at the @FortisLiving Pickersleigh community garden
We visited the Droitwich Community Garden yesterday to help out for a few hours and have a look around. It was really interesting to see a more established garden and to talk to the volunteers.
We came away with lots of ideas and some plants! ๐ฑ๐
Another busy week at the garden and our new shed has also been built ๐We're so excited by how fast everything is growing๐ผ We meet every Tuesday at 10am and we'd love to see you if you'd like to get involved or find out more. #malvern
Weโve had a busy few weeks and itโs so exciting to see the garden coming to life ๐ฑ Weโve also had our first harvest of some lovely peppery radishes. Our volunteers meet every Tuesday at 10am and weโd love to see you there ๐ ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฅ #volunteering
