@Erick_Srmon This is Treasure Galaxy and it is not the game I played. You started on a spaceship and walked around, never flying on a space scooter.
Thanks for trying to guess.

There's also a repeat button to hear the word again.
- Key detail: There were two versions, one for spelling, one for math, with identical gameplay, same character, same mechanics.
- Age target: Roughly 5th grade level
- Gameplay: Jump over aliens to avoid them; getting hit causes a spinning animation. Collect crystals throughout levels. Reach doors where the game speaks a word aloud and you must spell it; if wrong, it says "Not so good, I'm afraid. The correct answer is..."
I have searched and found from screenshots that it is NOT Spell It Plus (Davidson & Associates, 1990), Math Blaster Episode I: In Search of Spot (1993), Spelling Jungle (WordPerfect, 1991)
There was also an identical version but instead of spelling words you had to answer math problems like 2x5 to get the door to open.
Played on windows PC with single button joystick controller but I really can't recall any other details accurately.
