Creators are obsessed with ‘en vogue’ Hollywood IP and characters that are already known and highly commercial.
That’s a redline and Hollywood Studios will fight to suppress any infringement.
This is a huge mistake and serves only a short term goal and rightly has sparked significant pushback.
What they are missing is that it’s not about IP, it’s not about actors, it’s not even about the dazzling tech.
It is about STORY.
We as humans strive for good story.
And this is where the agency that we as AI creators have been handed can be exploited and Hollywood can do NOTHING about it.
So create stories from unencumbered IP. And the beautiful thing is that there are literally millions of GREAT stories ready to be told with the agency of Ai that will ignite interest from audiences worldwide.
Hollywood has throttled many great and important stories because they don’t fall into their purview.
This is the opportunity for the new creators. This is where there is incredible agency and this is where Hollywood and the rest of the establishment cannot touch the new paradigm that has sprouted from the creation of Gen Ai.
You don’t have to think. It’s already been proven to be ‘art’ by the art world itself, whether people care to admit it or not.
AI artist Refik Anadol and his art being a prime example of this. His accolades, TED talks and exhibits speak for themselves and all ai artists that subscribe to this way of expression.

@Stretchedwiener@TheMG3D His work and studio is really incredible. I was fortunate enough to be a guest of the Serpentine and we got to visit. His installations are breathtaking.
